St George’s Anglican Church Beenleigh
Our church is located at 2-8 Tansey Street Beenleigh on the corner of Tansey, Kent, and Bellew Streets, Beenleigh – opposite Coles.
Our service time is Sunday 8am Holy Communion, with Kidz Church (Sunday School) also commencing at 8am.
St George's Anglican Church is a Bible-believing church that has been serving the Beenleigh area for 150 years as the official parish of the Anglican Church of Australia.
Nursing Home Services
St George’s nursing home teams continue to be active in ministering in the local nursing homes conducting church services and communion.
Currently the nursing homes that we visit are Bethania Haven, Bethania Gardens, Connolly Court and Talbarra.
A team from St. George’s visits the nursing homes administering Holy Communion to those who want it, as well as singing well known hymns/songs, delivering a Gospel message, and sharing the love of Jesus.
Services are led by Tom Dawson or Rev Alan Moore, with Rev Frank assisting when Rev Alan is not available.
Nursing Home Ministry is offered at Southern Cross, Edens Landing, and Bolton Clarke-Talbarra Waterford, on the first Friday of each month.
Residents are offered a shortened communion service and the opportunity to join in singing some hymns.
Former parishioners who reside at Palm Lakes Mount Warren Park are also offered weekly communion on Sunday.
Bethania Haven is visited on the 3rd Friday of each month and Bethania Gardens is visited on the 4th Friday of every month.
