St George’s Anglican Church Beenleigh
Our church is located at 2-8 Tansey Street Beenleigh on the corner of Tansey, Kent, and Bellew Streets, Beenleigh – opposite Coles.
Our service time is Sunday 8am Holy Communion, with Kidz Church (Sunday School) also commencing at 8am.
St George's Anglican Church is a Bible-believing church that has been serving the Beenleigh area for 150 years as the official parish of the Anglican Church of Australia.
Ladies Friendship Group
Ladies Friendship Group is where we meet new people and make friends.
Ladies Friendship Group is generally held on the last Thursday of each month from 10:00am at the church hall.
About twenty ladies meet for morning tea and a chat each month from January to November.
The programme after morning tea varies but includes quizzes and playing board games.
Usually we meet in the hall next to St George’s Anglican Church, but sometimes we go on outings so it’s best to check with Anne on 0417 273 589.
On the second Thursday of the month some of the members meet at a local café, also at 10:00am, just for a catchup (no programme).
We warmly invite you to join us at any time, whether you are a member of St George’s church or not.
The Lady of the Month receives a little gift and often there are prizes for quizzes.
Occasionally we have a special speaker, but mostly the ladies share on the assigned topic of the month.
All ladies are welcome to join us and invite their neighbours and friends as this programme is designed to make new friends.
